My Thoughts:

This is a very dark epic fantasy story! It's got great characters and a great plot, but it's got a LOT of violence that I'm sure will turn off some people. I enjoyed this book though, not because of the violence, but because of the hero..or shall I say the anti-hero main character Dahoud. He's quite an interesting fella. He's basically fighting every second to NOT let a demon take control and it's obviously VERY hard. (this is where most of the violence comes in)

This is a great read with a lot of intriguing characters and a wonderfully dark but delightfully good plot. Fans of fantasy will devour this book in one big satisfying bite! Loved it!
