Weekend Reading

Hey guys! It's another weekend here at the casa, and since it's the end of the month I've decided to try to read as MUCH as I possibly can! I've got my books stacked up and I'm ready like Spongebob!

What's on my stack? You nerds...I knew you'd ask! *smirk*
  • Finishing up this one!
  • Never really ventured into graphic novels. I thought this would be a good one to start with. (FINISHED)
  • Library book!
  • Another bit of library loot!

So starting now I'm going into full reading maniac mode! Got any good books revved up for your weekend? Let me know! :) Make me jealous!

  1. You have a busy weekend! I don't have a whole lot going on so I am planning to snuggle up with The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran. We will be discussing that one at book club next Wednesday.

    1. I really feel like I should be reading Moran's stuff. I've been hearing lots of awesome things about her.

  2. I'm currently reading SHIFT by M.R. Merrick (indie) because I'm going a special feature with him next week so I need to finish this so I can write a review and then we're getting our Bloggiesta on! Gotta freshen up the 'ol blog!

I've never been interested in graphic novels but I do want to read The Walking Dead. I love the show and I hear the comics are really good :)

    Have a great weekend!

    1. I have been dying to get my hands on the Walking Dead books! My only problem will probably be the lack of one Mr. Daryl Dixon!

  3. Don't you just love self-imposed read-a-thons!?! Me...I'm attempting the impossible by trying to catch up on Bleak House and Forever Amber and read The Turquoise (Anya Seton) by the end of tomorrow or maybe Sunday. Plus, I'm trying to do Bloggiesta. Yes, I'm biting off more than I can chew, as usual. Oh, and did I mention? I'm also getting ready for a trip...leaving Sunday. Oh my! I think I'm crazy or just stupid or, perhaps just a glutton for punishment. LOL!

Good luck on getting some reading done. =O)

  5. It's me again! The third comment is the charm, I guess. ;O) Just wanted to see if you were aware that the code for your blog button is still showing your old button. I noticed the updated design and I wanted to change it over at my blog, but the code showed the old button. I checked it twice. I just grabbed the image and linked back to you here, but you might want to fix it for your other readers. Just a heads up!
