My #TBR Stack for this Week

It's almost break for my classes, so after this week I'll have some time to read! Yay! So that made me wonder, what should my stack be? Well here you go!

Pride and Prejudice is going to be an on-going read, I'm aiming for the end of December to have it finished. Look for reviews for Liah and The Walls Around US, probably next week!

Now it's your turn! What are you reading?

What Am I Reading-Monday?

I have decided that this week will be a "read whatever I want" week. I will focus on catching up with Anna K and Cheat River Three but then after that I will pick up whatever. I've been super stressed so I will probably need something fluffy and light!

So long story short, for this week I have no plan. I'm just gonna wing it. :)

It's Monday What are you Reading and Weekly Plans

So, like my previous post said I didn't get much reading done last week. I did however finish House of Leaves! So I'm really kinda proud of myself. That book was wicked hard to follow at times but sooo good! I liked it a lot!

Today my son goes off to start the 1st grade so that leaves me home alone for a HUGE chunk of hours! I'm so mixed up emotionally right now. I'm happy for him but sad I won't see my little buddy all day! I am happy to finally have some free time to read a LOT now! Woot! So here is my list for this week! Crossing my fingers I get some good reading done!

  1. Princess of Glass
  2. The Replacement
  3. Crescendo
  4. Numbers
That would be an awesome chunk of books to read in one week! I'm gonna try!

What about you?

Here are my plans:
  • continue-House of Leaves
  • The Wolf Of Tebron-C.S.Lakin

This weekly (awesome) meme is orchestrated by Sheila over at One Persons Journey Through a World of Books!

So this week is gonna be super busy, but fun! I have TWO contests ending, a brand new kitten to get box trained, and my son is now home for the Summer! Also, I have a stack of TBR books a mile high! I swear sometimes my brain might explode from thinking about all the things I have to do! Nah..I kid.. I love it all!

These look absolutely good!

What about you guys?

What am I Reading?

This week it's back to "normal" here in the Must Read Faster household. Mr. Kid is back in school and mommy has the place to herself once again! So I'm really going to have more time to read! yay!

I won't lay down a plan I'll just list a few of the books I'd LIKE to get read by the end of this week (Sunday) so here they are:
  1. (finish) Firefly Rain
  2. The Stolen One
  3. Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet
  4. Daughters of the Witching Hill
I probably won't finish them all, or I may just pick a random book but there you are. Happy Monday!

Monday-Check In

So I'm just gonna come right out and admit it. I've been a slacker and I apologize for it. Good news though, I'm so excited for this week and weekend's read-a-thons! I'm reading as much as I can when I can. I'm trying to get myself back on track so I can do this blog justice again!

I've already listed my goals for this week and so far so good! I'm plowing through The Fellowship and starting up kinda slow on The Passage, but I'll take it. I realize it will be a miracle if I finish The Passage in one week. This book is HUGE..like the unabridged version of The Stand huge!!! So I'll be happy if I make it at least half way through!

So if all goes well, I'll wake up around 5:30 (ish) on Saturday and start reading before the kiddo wakes up. Then after he's up I'll take a little break and make him breakfast and get him doing something fun, maybe he can even join me in reading? I don't think I can make it all night, BUT my husband gets home early on Saturday and has Sunday off, so I could try and stay up a little late. It would be awesome of him to wake up with the kiddo in the morning (on Sunday) but he usually wants to sleep in, but I think if I ask him nicely he'll get up ;)

Rambling on, I have a few ideas about a giveaway that I might do. I went through my piles and bookshelves looking for Read-a-Thon books and discovered I had some that I could use for a giveaway. I think you guys might like this selection too! So let me cook up that idea and I'll let you know what happens, of course.

Okay now, back to reading.

What are you Reading?

Well last week was a bit of a bust it seems! I will go a bit easier on myself this time. I still have to finish Wizard's First Rule (for the SoT Challenge) but I've made a good deal of progress so I should finish it today or tomorrow, baring catastrophe!

So without further ado, my list for this week!

  • Wizard's First Rule-Terry Goodkind (finish up)
  • Angel and Apostle-Deborah Noyes
  • Benjamin Pratt and the Keeper of the School: We the Children-Andrew Clements (142 pages)
  • The Lighthouse of Mr. Tinfish-Chris Wardle (95 pages)
  • Mr. Choli's River Trip-Chris Wardle ( 85 pages)
Those last three are children's novels and are pretty short. I don't think they will be a challenge.
Well there you go! My list for this week! Hope I make it this time!

What are you Reading?

Well the last two weeks have definitely been a bust for me (reading/life-wise) so I can't say I actually completed a book yet. I'm ALMOST (like this () much) done with The Eye of the World, so yay! But I have ambitions for this week.

I got a few quick looking reads in the mail so I'll put those on my list. Here goes:

To Read:
  • The Bone Chamber-Robin Burcell
  • A Black Tie Affair-Sherrill Bodine-FINISHED!!!
  • Wizard's First Rule-Terry Goodkind (This is one for the Sword of Truth challenge. It's got eleventy million pages in it and scares me half to death!!!)
  • Size Eight in a Size Zero World-Meredith Cagen-FINISHED!!!
  • The Lighthouse of Mr. Tinfish and Mr. Choli's River Trip-Chris Wardle (children's books)

There! That's not to ambitious...right? Right? I probably won't finish WFR until the end of the month but the other's seem pretty do-able. Wish me luck!

What are you Reading?

This week I will have to finish up The Eye of the World and get cracking on Wizard's First Rule. I put EoW on pause so I could read Veracity. (review posted) These are both "fatty mc fat fat" sized books so I'll just stick with these.

What about you guys?

  • The Stolen One-Suzanne Crowley
  • The Man Who Loved Books Too Much
There! Now it's your turn! What are you reading this week?
