What I'm Reading This Week(s)

 

I know it's been awhile (How are you doing?) since I've posted here. Lots of things have happened and I've had to adjust in many many exhausting ways. I'm back though, I'm going to be posting here regularly. Getting the bloggy juices flowing again. 

I've got some great books on my deck for this week (and probably into next week as well knowing my reading pace!) So here they be:

Now with Crooked Kingdom and Pride and Prejudice I have already started these, so my aim is to finish them up. I might crack into Hell House to get a little spoopy reading in for Halloween though. I'm gonna aim for a 2 week reading window because lately I've been reading so so so sloooowwww.

It's Monday! What Is On Your TBR?

 

I'm plowing through the LoTRs series! I've always wanted to read the books, but never got a chance. My fiancé had a copy (mine now mwahaha) of the complete trilogy in one volume and so I had no excuse! This is going towards my goal of 5 books read by the end of the year! 

I'll also take breaks to pick up Crime and Punishment and American Gods so that I can maybe squeeze in more reading, but LoTRs will be my focus this week!

What are you Reading...Late Edition

Yup it's Monday again. And what better way to start off the bitchiest day of the week? A stomach ache! Yup! That's why this post is a little later than usual. :( Plus I hate Mondays. Really. So this is me right now:

Because I just want to go back to bed and sleep this stomach ache off. I don't even know what I did to deserve it. :( But anyhoodle..back to the posts point. What am I reading this week?

What are you Reading Monday?

To be honest, I don't have a plan this week.

As I said in my Sunday Salon post,  I'm going to try to finish as many books as I can by the end of December and schedule as many reviews as I can to kick 2012 off with a headstart! I fell behind this year, due to all sorts of things and my blog plans went bye bye. Soo with that said and done, my next two weeks will be me reading and getting things in tip top shape for the new year!

My goodreads tracker thingy says I'm about 28 books away from my goal. There is NO way I am going to make that goal unless I read from morning til night everyday until the 31st. Yeah..no way. So with that in mind, stay tuned for my next post which will be my personal read-a-thon starting line. I will read as much as I can when I can and see how many I can finish up! My son is on break until the 3rd, so he may just join me!

Well I had a slooow reading week last week! I finished Dust and Decay. That's it, but it was exxxceeellleeennnnttt. So I am pleased. I won't plan out my books this week (besides Eden..which is a blog tour book) as I plan on trying to plow through many. I will list some possibilities. My goal is to write and schedule all the reviews I have backed up and try to put a dent in my Review Stack! It's getting fricken' insane!

Well last week I pretty much just pittered around with my reading, so this week I'm getting back on track!

I am going to aim for four books this week! :) No more being lazy! I have my list and I'm gonna get it done!

I am gonna call this a "play by ear" week. I know for sure I have two review reads coming up, but that's it.
Vague I know, but I am just going to read and not really schedule myself. A slacker week. :) Yeah that's it.
