EXPLICIT CONTENT ~Under His Boss by Doris O'Connor~ M/M Contemporary Erotic Romance GUEST Post

Title: Under His Boss
Release Date: Feb 19th, 2015
Genre: MM, Contemporary, Erotic

~Love is a precious thing~

When James Dyllon finds an explicit card on his desk he doesn’t know what to think. His hot as Hades boss has never given him the slightest indication that he returns James’ affections, so this card can’t be from him. Two male lovers entwined—someone is having a laugh at his expense.

George MacKenzie is done lusting after James from afar. A New Year brings with it the opportunity for change and George is tired of hiding. Since taking over the company after his father fell ill, he is finally in a position to act on his feelings, and he wants James. The card might be a feeble attempt, but at least James does not seem disinterested.

Together they will be able to weather anything, as long as he can convince James that he really does want forever.

 About the Author:

Glutton for punishment would be a good description for Doris…at least that’s what she hears on an almost daily basis when people find out that she has a brood of nine children, ranging from adult to toddler, and lives happily in a far-too-small house, cluttered with children, pets, dust bunnies, and one very understanding and supportive husband. Domestic goddess she is not.

There is always something better to do, after all, like working on the latest manuscript and trying not to scare the locals even more than usual by talking out loud to the voices in her head. Her characters tend to be pretty insistent to get their stories told, and you will find Doris burning the midnight oil on a regular basis. Only time to get any peace and quiet, and besides, sleep is for wimps.

She likes to spin sensual, sassy, and sexy tales involving alpha heroes to die for, and heroines who give as good as they get. From contemporary to paranormal, BDSM to F/F and Ménage, haunting love stories are guaranteed.

Guest Post:

Never Say Never
Thanks so much for hosting my boys today. Under his Boss is my first m/m story, and not so long ago, I never thought I would write a m/m story.

Then again, I never set out to be an erotic author, either. However, I am a panster, and as such I listen to my characters, and they tend to be utterly incapable of keeping their hands off each other. The woman who blushed at the mere thought of writing sex scenes had no choice but to keep writing them, and thus my stories became hotter and hotter. I vividly recall my first ménage story. It was an adaptation of Goldielocks and the three bears, and my Goldie gets brothers and their sister. Yep, that story is m/f/m and f/f.

You can see where this is going, lol. Eventually I wrote m/m/f, but that elusive m/m story still escaped me, until the day we were given this picture prompt in my Friday Flash Fiction group.

This was the flash this story inspired…
James opened the card propped up on his desk with a frown. He recognized the writing, of course. He’d seen it often enough when his boss signed the letters he presented to him, but this… this couldn’t be from him.

His sip of coffee went down the wrong way, and coughing he turned the rather explicit card over to read the message.

If you’re not interested, I’ll understand, but I couldn’t think of another way to tell you.

George Mac Kenzie’s cologne alerted James to his presence, and he swung his chair round and sucked in a breath.

“Merry Christmas.”

Now, I can’t tell you why this picture spoke to me so much, but James and George’s story was born in those 100 words, and they wouldn’t let me rest until I told the full story. That flash does make it into Under his Boss, though it is now sat at New Year’s Eve.
In the process of writing about James and George I fell hopelessly in love with them, and I hope readers will too.

Under his Boss is funny, and sad, and hot, of course, and as my hubby said to me after he read my first draft.

“Maaan, if I didn’t have you, I’d be jealous of their love story.”

After all, Love is a precious thing… J

One $10 Amazon GC and two e-books from Doris’ back list to two runners up
