*Sigh* Jane In June

The Book Rat has been hosting the Jane in June event and I have *sorta* been participating. I'm reading Pride and Prejudice and LOVING it, but I haven't been keeping up with the schedule. I do intend on having it finished up by the end of the month so I can count it towards my June books.

I may have failed the read-a-long, but I count myself a new fan of Madam Austen. If it wasn't for the Book Rat and the read-a-long I would probably have not read this book. :) So it's not such a failure right? ...right?

  1. Glad you're liking P & P. We read it for my TuesBookTalk read alongs a couple of months ago and I loved it! Of course it's not a failure. Things happen. No guilt, right? Like you said, it got you to read a book you might have otherwise not read.

Speaking of read alongs, I failed miserably on John Adams. Wallace finally took my name off. She's doing Virginia Woolf's To The Lighthouse next and I hope she will let me join in after the John Adams fail. I'm still deciding because I still don't have all my books unpacked and it's in a box somewhere. Ugh!

  4. No hurries, no worries! You don't have to read it according to our schedule, and even if you don't finish in June, I still hope you post your thoughts! =D
