Weekend Plans

 

So because of a change in my work schedule I have this afternoon, tomorrow during the day and Sunday during the day. 

So that means I have plenty of time to read! I want to finish The Wastelands (book 3 in the Dark Tower series) and get some in on the rest of my TBR. 

I am extremely motivated! Also, reviews will start to show up here very very soon. I've got a little bank of reviews that need to be posted.  

So what are your plans for the weekend? 

Weekend Stuffs

This week has been wacky and I mean that in a stressed out, hair pulling, sleeping whenever I can, wonky sort of wacky way! I mean I think yesterday I looked like this:

Anybloggin, I didn't get a LOT (okay who am I kidding right?) of reading done. I am enjoying The First Days by Rhiannon Frater and I'm almost finished with it. My weekend is going to be interesting. I work only Saturday this weekend, because...*Drumroll*

My son is turning 8 years old tomorrow! *Sobs* My little boy is growing up! We aren't planning a huge party or anything, but both of us are off work so we are going to be hanging out with him a LOT. We are baking his cake tonight and decorating it tomorrow. We are going to let him pick out his presents and what he wants to do. So I doubt I'll have spare time to read, but as always I will have a book on me!  I never leave home without it.

So that's my plans. I have a book tour read to get done, plus I want to finish TFDs and post my review! I think I foresee a caffeine overdose in my future!

**Ps-Just in case anyone was curious, I have been working out everyday this week! I am feeling slightly addicted! :) Good addictions are so hard to come by I think I'll nurture this one.

Mah Plans for the Rest of 2011

So I have two stacks of books. One stack are the books I WANT to read before the end of the year and my other stack is for my books I need to review. So basically from now until the 31st, I'm going to be plowing through as many books as I can! I foresee lots of coffee and lots of late nights! Yay! So prepare! I have things a'coming!

For this weekend though I plan on finishing up Dust and Decay and reading Eden. Zombeh weekend for me!

Luckily we have Daryl Dixon to save the day! (Yes, I really need the Walking Dead to come back!)

I'm going to read a crap ton of Zombie books this weekend! First, I'm going to finish up two books, Dead of Night and Zone One, and then read Married With Zombies! Them's the plans!

^^That was me yesterday! I decided to get my housework done so I can have my weekend devoted to reading and planning out next week! How's that for being organized? Anyway, with the Fall Catch Up Read-a-thon this week, I thought I'd go ahead and get ready for that. Since this is a week long event, Sept. 20-26th, my stack will be rather large. I plan on devoting as much spare time as I can to "catching up" on my reading! So no more slacking off on the computer! lol

I think these will work for now! I may tweak it but I want to stay a little bit organized! :)

Weekend Reading Plans

Since our car is STILL (sigh) acting wonky and we are broke, so I've decided to use my time wisely and READ!!! :) I'm not planning a read-a-thon or anything but I am planning on reading A LOT! I have been preoccupied with finances, the car, and basically just life sucking royally for us. This will be a much welcomed and needed distraction for me. I've got a pile of TBRs that I need to crack into and have some reviews I need to write! So anyhoodle, here are the books that I have piled up. I won't read them all (it's not possible in two days) but I will select from these and review them :) No excuses this weekend!

• The Bone Chamber-Robin Burcell
• Gutshot Straight-Lou Berney ( I read a review of this somewhere on the interwebs..Where was that?)
• Benjamin Pratt and the Keepers of the School: We the Children-Andrew Clements
• The Lighthouse of Mr. Tinfish-Chris Wardle (have to read this for a blog tour)

• and last but not least the book I've been dragging my heels on for some reason....Wizard's First Rule-Terry Goodkind. Really I have been trying to finish this one for almost three weeks! I'm finishing this one this weekend if it kills me!!!!-DONE!!!
