Cover to Cover Challenge Read-a-Thon! Day 3

This is what I've supposed to do up until now: (Taken from a previous post)
Saturday 21st-

1. Assassin's Apprentice-I would like to finish it tonight. (almost finished)
   
2. The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making (haven't done)
   

Sunday 22nd-

1. Catch Up-The Crimson Petal and The White (still need this)
   
2. Catch Up-John Adams (i am not part of the read-a-long officially but I'd like to finish) (still need this)
   

Monday 23rd-

1. Game of Thrones-finish it (ditto as above)

Yeah so you can see how far behind I am from my ridiculously self-imposed schedule! So what I'm going to focus on today is getting Assassin's Apprentice finished (shouldn't be that hard, it's really good!) and then grazing through these above!

Cover to Cover Challenge Read-a-Thon! Day 2

Hey guys! Didn't get finished with Assassin's Apprentice but today I believe I will. Then as per schedule that I picked out yesterday, I will be catching up with my big thick books!

So I'm going to start at 8am (Cst) which is coming up very soon.

Not such a great day either :( I made the mistake of making meatloaf for the first time. I'm not sure if it wasn't cooked all the way or what but I was not well most of the day. My stomach informed me that meatloaf is not it's favorite. :(

Cover to Cover Challenge Read-a-Thon! Day 1

This Read-a-Thon starts at 10am pacific time (which if my calculations are correct makes it noonish my time CST)

Sooooo what I'm going to do today is finish up Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb (starting on page 171)
Which is goooooodddd. :)

And reading The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making (starting on page 16)

Which I started before and didn't finish. So I wanna finish, just so I can say it's name again! lol

I am not going to do an hour by hour update but I will try and update this post in "chunks" to let you all know how well I'm doing. This first day is a 24 hour read-a-thon....I know for sure that I won't be able to read all 24hours but I'll give it a shot! :)

First Chunk: 12 (cst) -2pm
Progress: 41 pages of Assassin's Apprentice (plus laundry, vacuuming, sweeping, dishes, etc)
Second Chunk: 2pm-4pm
Starting pg: 212
Progress: not much of it! I had to work this chunk.
Third Chunk: 4pm-6pm
Starting Page: 212
progress: well I got a chunk read but again with the house work stuff. 61 pages read. Doesn't look like my second book will get read tonight.
