Read-a-Thon Mid-Event Survey

Mid-Event Survey:
1. What are you reading right now?
John Dies at the End by David Wong
2. How many books have you read so far?
3 so far!
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
I'm really hoping to finish John Dies! So far it's awesome!
4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day?
Yup! I took off from work and arranged for my son to spend the weekend at his Grandpa's house! My husband works so until about 9pm I have the house to myself (oh yeah..well me and the cat!)
5. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
I called to check up on my son and to say hi! I did this after I finished my first book and was taking a little break. Then after a few hours he called me because his cousin was being mean! I talked him down and he calmed down.

6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
The MUNCHIES! Seriously, what is it with these things? I get the munchies like MAD when I do a read-a-thon!
7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?

so far not a thing pops into my brain!

8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year?
I don't know. I'm having a really good time and wouldn't change anything!
9. Are you getting tired yet?
A little but stretching helps!

10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered?
Have a notebook handy to jot down notes for your reviews! Oh and stretch every hour to help with energy levels and concentration!

  1. I've got a notebook too for jotting down notes. I'm so impressed with myself because I've never been that prepared for a read-a-thon and all of the books just meld together in my head!
Enjoy the rest of your reading!
