Knight of Desire Review and Giveaway!!

Thanks again to Hachette and Anna Balasi for allowing me and my little blog to participate in this awesome blog tour and giveaway!

From Amazon:

FEARLESS IN BATTLE

His surcoat still bloody from battle, William FitzAlan comes to claim the strategic borderlands granted to him by the king. One last prize awaits him at the castle gates: the lovely Lady Catherine Rayburn.

TENDER IN BED

Catherine risked everything to spy for the crown. Her reward? Her lands are declared forfeit and she is given this choice: marry FitzAlan or be taken to the Tower. Catherine agrees to give her handsome new husband her body, but she's keeping secrets, and dare not give him her heart. As passion ignites and danger closes in, Catherine and William must learn to trust in each other to save their marriage, their land, and their very lives.

KNIGHT OF DESIRE

My Review:

I adored this book! There I said it! I loved it from the start to the finish! I'm not usually the type of girl that gets into books like this. I will admit to having a sort of set opinion of the Romance genre, but I figured that if I'm going to do this book reviewing and reading thing right I'll have to broaden my horizons! This book may have converted me to the throngs of "bodice ripper" fans! Seriously this book travelled with me everywhere! I believe the phrase would be; I completely devoured it! The only negative opinion I had of this book was the cover art. It was a little cliched (but a beautifully done cliche I'll add) and not really a very good representation of the story. I loved Catherine and her character. I was so glad that she wasn't a helpless female and everything she did had a purpose. She was a strong woman that took care of herself and her loved ones. I really LIKED her. William on the other hand was a little whiny at times but even that wasn't enough to make me hate him. I loved the chemistry between William and Catherine. The love story was well developed and believable. The drama was awesome! Honestly I cannot think of anything else to say but read it! Do yourself a favor and enter the contest giveaway or better yet buy a copy! It's that good!

  5. My favorite romance novel? Hmmm... I'm having a brain fart right now, and can't remember the name. I read it for the first time when I was 10...and have re-read it every year or so since then. It's driving me crazy that I can't remember the name!

If anyone can tell me the name off these clues, let me know! She's from England, he's from the Carolinas, he thought she was a prostitute, she thought she had murdered her uncle...etc.
